From a British point of view these are local specialties: Safflower Skipper Pyrgus carthami, Hungarian Skipper Spialia orbifer, Tufted Marbled Skipper Carcharodus flocciferus, Clouded Apollo Parnassius mnemosyne, Southern Festoon Zerynthia polyxena, Eastern Pale CloudedYellow Colias erate and Lesser Clouded Yellow C. chrysotheme, Eastern Bath White Pontia edusa, Nettle-tree Butterfly Lybythea celtis, Camberwell Beauty Nymphalis antiopa, Lesser Purple Emperor Apatura ilia, Common Glider Neptis sappho, Hungarian Glider N. rivularis, Yellow-legged Tortoiseshell Nymphalis xanthomelas, Pallas’s Fritillary Argynnis laodice, Twin-spot Fritillary Brenthis hecate, Knapweed Fritillary Melitaea phoebe, Lesser Spotted Fritillary M. trivia, Assman’s Fritillary Mellicta britomartis, Scarce Fritillary Euphydryas maturna, Woodland Brown Lopinga achine, Woodland Grayling Hipparchia fagi and Dusky Meadow Brown Hyponephele lycaon. Lycaenid species include Blue-spot Hairstreak Satyrium spini, Lesser Fiery Copper Lycaena thersamon, Eastern Short-tailed Blue Everes decoloratus, Osiris Blue Cupido osiris, Dusky Large Blue Maculinea nausithous, Scarce Large Blue M. telejus and Anomalous Blue Agrodiaetus admetus, Geranium Argus Eumedonia eumedon.Other species: Common Swallowtail, Scarce Swallowtail, Chequered Skipper, Wood White, Purple Emperor, Marbled Fritillary, Lesser Marbled Fritillary, Dark Green Fritillary, High Brown Fritillary, Weaver’s Fritillary, Queen of Spain Fritillary, Duke of Burgundy, Large Tortoiseshell, Black Hairstreak, Brown Hairstreak, Purple Hairstreak, Large Copper, Purple-shot Copper, Purple-edged Copper, Sooty Copper, Large Blue (Maculinaea arion and Maculinea ligurica), Alcon Blue, Chequered Blue, Green-underside Blue, Turqoise Blue, Meleager’s Blue, Chalk-hill Blue, Eastern Baton Blue etc.
